Procedures & Modalities
Pain Management –Techniques for controlling and/or alleviating chronic soft tissue
pain.
Stress Management – Techniques for controlling and alleviating stress
in every day life.
Headaches – Relief through cranial sacral decompression therapy.
Reflexology – A system of massaging specific to the hand or the
foot that promotes healing, improves circulation, and relieves stress in other
parts of the body.
Trigger Point – Palpation, stretching, ischemic compression
techniques for alleviating pain in key muscle groups throughout the body. Treating myofascial (pain) trigger points
addresses the source of that kind of common pain and is not just a way of
temporarily relieving it.
Swedish Massage – Utilizes gliding, stroking and friction techniques
as well as passive range of motion movements, including foot rotation and leg
bends. Swedish massage approaches the
body from an anatomical, physiological point of view.
Deep Tissue
Massage – A type that works deeper
into the body’s tissues. This kind of
massage can feel less relaxing, but is well suited for relieving chronic pain
and helping rehabilitate the body after injuries.
Relaxation Massage – A combination of Swedish massage, reflexology and
Aromatherapy, promoting relaxation and emotional well being.
Energy & Balancing
Aromatherapy – The use of aromas from essential, natural oils made
from plants as a form of treatment.
Clay Facial – A mixture of organic ingredients to promote gentle
cleaning of the skin. I blend facial
treatments for each clients skin requirements.
Paraffin Treatments – Hands, feet, face or entire body are dipped/painted
in warm paraffin wax. Paraffin is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons. The treated area is dipped in warm wax and
then encased in a plastic wrap (not face).
The wax is peeled off after it hardens, about 15 minutes later. Besides leaving the skin smooth, ingredients
in the wax moisturize, increase joint and muscle mobility.
Salt Scrubs – A mixture of course natural salt and aromatic oils
rubbed on hands, feet or all over the body to help shed flaky drying skin and
improve skin circulation and texture.
Ear Candling – A deep cleaning of the ears. The procedure is non-intrusive (no pain) and
much less expensive than doctors using intrusive water flushing methods. Ear candling has been used for hundreds of
years.
